KEEPING YOUR PRODUCTIVITY ON-TARGET
On-Site Industrial Nitrogen Generators: Powering Industries N₂ the Future
Nitrogen is essential across industries, from food packaging and metal fabrication to electronics. Yet, relying on bulk deliveries and bottled gas can be costly, unpredictable, and inefficient. When production is on the line, supply interruptions are not an option.
AIM’s onsite industrial nitrogen generators give you full control over your nitrogen supply. By producing your own high-purity nitrogen where and when you need it, you can eliminate logistical headaches, reduce expenses, and power your productivity with greater confidence.

Our Nitrogen Generation Systems
AIM offers a comprehensive range of nitrogen generation systems for sale, tailored for any facility or application. We provide systems that achieve purities up to 99.9995%, meeting even the most demanding standards.
Our line includes both PSA (Pressure Swing Adsorption) and membrane technologies, allowing our experts to design the perfect solution for your specific purity and flow rate needs.
The Benefits of Producing Nitrogen On-Site
Achieve Significant Cost Savings
Generating nitrogen onsite is significantly less expensive than buying bottled or liquid nitrogen. By removing the need for recurring costs like bulk deliveries, cylinder refills, rental fees, and supplier price hikes, many businesses save up to 50%. Your nitrogen costs become predictable, and your return on investment often starts within a year.
Ensure Unmatched Reliability
When nitrogen is critical to production, you cannot afford supply interruptions. AIM nitrogen generators provide 24/7 reliability, ensuring you always have the purity and volume your process requires. End your reliance on third-party suppliers and eliminate costly production stoppages caused by delivery delays or empty tanks.
Enhance Workplace Safety
Onsite generation is inherently safer. It completely eliminates the risks associated with handling, transporting, and storing heavy, high-pressure gas cylinders, protecting your team from a common source of workplace injuries.
Simple Installation and Low Maintenance
Switching to onsite nitrogen generation is easier than most expect. AIM’s systems are designed to integrate seamlessly with your existing compressed air setup.
Our team manages every step, from assessment and design to installation and training, so you can start producing nitrogen quickly with minimal downtime. Once running, your system operates quietly, efficiently, and with low maintenance requirements.
Sustainable and Efficient
Onsite generation doesn’t just save money; it supports sustainability goals. Eliminating nitrogen deliveries means fewer trucks on the road, lower emissions, and reduced environmental impact.
Your facility gains efficiency while contributing to a cleaner, greener future.
Proven Return on Investment
The financial benefits are clear. Businesses typically see a full return on investment within a year, followed by long-term savings every month thereafter.
Add in the reliability, operational control, and potential tax incentives for energy-efficient equipment, and AIM nitrogen generators become one of the most cost-effective upgrades you can make.
Who Are Our Nitrogen Generators For? Industries & Use Cases
Different industries require different nitrogen purity levels, and AIM provides tailored solutions for them all. Common applications include:
- Food & Beverage Packaging: Preserve freshness and extend shelf life.
- Laser Cutting & Metal Fabrication: Enhance cutting performance, precision, and prevent oxidation.
- Electronics Manufacturing: Prevent oxidation during soldering and protect sensitive product quality.
- Pharmaceuticals & Medical: Maintain clean, controlled, and inert environments.
- Chemical Blanketing: Protect volatile chemicals and prevent fires or explosions.
Heat Treating: Create a non-reactive atmosphere to protect metals during processing.
How Does a Nitrogen Generator Work?
An onsite nitrogen generator is a simple, reliable technology that separates nitrogen from the air around us. Our systems integrate seamlessly with your existing compressed air setup.
The most common technology, Pressure Swing Adsorption (PSA), is used to achieve the highest purities. Here’s how it works:
- Air In: The generator takes in ambient air from your compressor, which is 78% nitrogen and 21% oxygen.
- Separation: This compressed air is fed into a vessel containing a Carbon Molecular Sieve (CMS). The smaller oxygen molecules are “adsorbed” by the sieve material, while the larger nitrogen molecules pass through unharmed.
Nitrogen Out: The vessel “swings” to a low-pressure state to vent the trapped oxygen, while a second vessel takes over the adsorption process. This continuous cycle delivers a steady stream of high-purity nitrogen gas on demand.
